DASA Coordinator Courses
Audience: Individuals assigned the DASA Coordinator role for their school district/building, such as building leaders, TOSAs, school social workers, school psychologists, etc. Also appropriate for DASA response team members.
Description: This is a comprehensive DASA Coordinator, one day Training. DASA Coordinators and their DASA Response Teams play a vital role in supporting a positive school-wide climate in relation to prevention and reaction to dignity violations in their school. DASA Coordinators need to be well-prepared to manage the demands of this important position and this training will provide them with the education in this area to be successful DASA Coordinators.
This course is NOT intended for professionals in need of their DASA Certification for employment. If you are a professional in need of a DASA Course Completion Certification, for employment, please register for the General DASA course.
DASA Courses (General, Online Asynchronous)
Audience: Educators that are interested in increasing their knowledge on ways to create a safe positive learning environment for their students. Professionals in need of their DASA Certification.
Description: A comprehensive course on New York State's Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). This interactive asynchronous course was created to allow students to complete the 7 modules at their individual pace, at a convenient time that their busy schedule permits. At the completion of the course & after all of the required materials have been submitted, participants will have earned eligibility to receive a certificate of completion.
