Coaching for District and Building-Level Administrators

Qualified Erie 1 BOCES staff, trained in Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools will provide coaching to building and district administrators. School administration coaching is a collaborative, personalized process designed to support school leaders—such as principals, assistant principals, and district administrators—in refining their leadership practices to improve student outcomes and organizational effectiveness. Through regular, reflective conversations, a coach helps administrators navigate complex challenges, align actions with strategic goals, and strengthen skills in instructional leadership, staff development, data-driven decision-making, and community engagement. The coaching relationship fosters trust, accountability, and growth, empowering leaders to make informed decisions that positively impact their schools and learning environments.
Days: 60-75 minute sessions to take place on an agreed upon schedule
Cost:
- 1 virtual session: $300
- 1 in-person session: $325
- 10 sessions: $2,850
- 1-19 sessions: $285/session
- 20 sessions: $5,600
- 21+ sessions: $280/session
Leadership Support in Operations, Mentoring, and Systems Implementation

A temporary assignment in which an experienced educator supports a school or district leadership role to provide stability, continuity, guidance, mentoring, and modeling during a transition period. This role will support staff, implementation of best practices in operations, and strategies for fostering a positive school or district climate.
Days: Daily per contract agreement
Cost:
- $680/day for building level leaders
- $705/day for district office leaders
Leadership Mentoring and Systems Development

Experienced building and district leaders with position-specific experience will support district or building administrators with mentoring of new and experienced leaders by modeling and working collaboratively on specific projects including, but not limited to:
- Operational tasks related to the position
- Systems implementation
- Interpersonal interactions with stakeholders
Days: Half or full days, per contract agreement
Cost:
- $680/day for building level leaders
- $705/day for district office leaders
Support for Personnel, Discipline, or Sensitive Issues
Qualified Erie 1 BOCES staff or consultant can support:
- Delivery of professional development based on need
- Facilitation of reflective/restorative conversations involving relevant stakeholders
- Sustained coaching or mentoring
Days: As needed
Cost: negotiated based on project
Superintendent Coaching and Support

Qualified consultants with position-specific experience, contracted with Erie 1 BOCES, can coach and support superintendents.
Days: Monthly or bi-monthly meetings, or per contract agreement

ESSA SCEP/DCIP Planning Support Package
This will support districts and schools identified by NYSED as TSI/CSI in order to develop their plans in accordance with regulations. The district /school agrees to assemble a team, select a survey tool, and administer the survey. Progress monitoring support available in a separate package.

School-wide/district-wide strategic planning is essential for fostering a shared vision, promoting accountability, and enhancing the overall effectiveness and success of an educational institution. It provides a roadmap for continuous improvement and helps align the efforts of all stakeholders toward common objectives. Progress monitoring support available in a separate package.
Sub-services:
- Mission & Vision Statement. Facilitation around clearly articulating the purpose and direction of the school, describing its core values, and outlining the desired future state.
- Scheduling: Up to 2 half days on site
- Cost: $2,800
- Needs Assessment
- Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the school, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Conducting a school-wide survey using Thought Exchange
- Facilitate multiple stakeholder focus group discussions for qualitative data
- Information may involve gathering data on academic performance, student demographics, staff capabilities, and community engagement
- Scheduling: No on-site support
- Cost: $4,900
- Goals, Outcomes, and Action Plan
- Facilitating the establishment of specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals that align with the school's mission and address identified needs
- Facilitating the development of plans outlining the steps and initiatives required to achieve the established goals and outcomes. Details may include strategies for curriculum development, professional development, student support services, and/or community involvement.
- Scheduling: Up to 2 full days or 4 half days on-site
- Cost: $4,900
- Communication and Engagement Plan
- Communication plan can be customized to meet needs.

- Up to 1 full day on-site: $2,800 - 4,200 per building*
- Up to 2 half days on-site: $2,800

STEPS (3012e) Consultation for Teachers and Principals Package
This service can be utilized to support districts that are creating new 3012e-aligned teacher and principal evaluation plans. Each sub-service must be purchased separately for teacher evaluation planning vs. principal evaluation planning.
