Description: This two-day workshop explores key ideas from the Numeracy Briefs series, offering research-based strategies to strengthen math teaching and learning.

  • Day 1 (Briefs 1-4): Focus on foundational elements of effective math instruction, including evidence-based practices, debunking common myths, prioritizing high-leverage content, and using impactful instructional strategies. Learn how to promote discourse, reasoning, and engagement across all learners.
  • Day 2 (Briefs 5-8): Dive into practices that support and sustain learning: formative assessment, use of representations, curriculum adaptation, and the role of instructional leadership. Explore how thoughtful planning and collaboration can transform classroom practice.
