Consortium for Student Empowerment Through Innovation (CSETI)

Description: The Consortium for Student Empowerment Through Innovation's mission is to build a community of educational professionals working together to collaborate on ideas, problem-solve, share resources, and support each other to expand the student empowerment movement. Project/problem-based learning throughout the first half of the school year builds students' understanding and skills to then conduct their own investigation that ultimately results in a publicly shared impact project for an authentic audience. The Cardboard Arcade Challenge and the IMPACT Expo are opportunities for students to demonstrate their skills and share their learning with others. Both of these student-centered events are included with consortium membership. Additionally, consortium members receive onboarding support, coaching, and a device lending service through CSLO. CSLO Billing Code: 555.009.02 Costs: CSDs $760/per participant. Please note costs for Charters/non-pubs: $836/per participant. This cost includes the 10% Charter/non-pubs processing fee. E1B Billing will reflect this cost. Please be aware that any Buffalo Public School employee MUST provide a Purchase Order prior to attending this event. This should be emailed to crelyea@e1b.org.
